Clear rules for how we work together.
1. Nature of the service
FromUSA provides assisted-purchase / personal-shopping. We purchase from a US retailer on your behalf and arrange shipping to India. You are the importer of record for customs.
2. Fees
Our fee is 10% of the product price or USD 20, whichever is higher. Shipping is at actual carrier cost. Customs duty and GST are payable by you at actuals and are not included in our fee.
3. Prohibited items
We do not source Apple devices (iPhone, MacBook, etc.), general pharmacy medicines, firearms, hazardous goods, counterfeits, or anything prohibited under Indian law. Personal-use prescription-matched medicine may be considered only after review.
4. Quotes and payment
We provide a quote (product, fee, shipping, estimated duty). We purchase only after you confirm and pay.
5. Delivery
Typical delivery 7–14 days after purchase. Tracking is provided when available. We assist with genuine damage/loss claims reported promptly with evidence.
6. Cancellation
If not yet purchased, cancellation is usually possible (gateway fees may apply). After purchase, refunds depend on the US retailer’s return policy.
7. Privacy
We collect only what is needed: name, WhatsApp number, address, product details. We do not sell your data. Communication is primarily on WhatsApp.
8. Liability
We act as a facilitator. Final customs assessment, carrier delays, and stock changes are outside full control. Liability is limited to our service fee for the order.
